The study “Administrative Management and the COVID-19 Budget at the National Autonomous University of Tayacaja Daniel Hernández Morillo, 2020” analyzed the relationship between administrative management and the resources allocated to address the pandemic. The objective was to determine this relationship, based on the hypothesis that there is a direct and significant link between the two variables. The research adopted a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, working with a population of 56 faculty and administrative staff selected through simple random sampling. A Likert-scale questionnaire was applied, whose validity was verified through expert judgment, and reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha, obtaining values of 0.929 and 0.950 for administrative management and budget, respectively. Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship (r = 0.68; p < .01) between the variables. The results indicate that efficient administrative management enhances the execution of the COVID-19 budget, while greater budget allocation improves administrative processes. The moderate positive correlation supports this relationship. The study concludes that administrative management and budget allocation are closely linked in the university context and recommends conducting experimental research to further explore the management of public resources in health emergency situations.
