Organic waste in a poultry farm always comprises a percentage of chicken carcasses due to operational errors in feeding and
other conditions of the birds. Another waste product is manure known as chicken droppings. Its improper management can become a source of soil and water contamination, in addition to generating unpleasant odors and proliferation of disease vectors. Faced with this problem, the assessment of organic waste in a poultry farm located in the district of Pichanaki was considered. Three stages were carried out: 1: Adaptation of the site for the compost bin and selection of inputs; 2: Compost preparation and 3: Compost packaging, considering weekly control of the temperature, pH and humidity indicators for 8 weeks, supported by the application of a BioEcol inoculant to accelerate degradation and stabilization reaching temperatures above 60°C to eliminate pathogens and control odors, oxygenating the compost weekly by turning, resulting in biofertilizer (compost), showing a neutral pH of 7.6, with a dark brown color, which is ground in a manual mill and finally bagged.
