Abstract

Companies seek to adapt and implement new forms of digital work, in the face of the COVID-19 post-pandemic, placing workers in the face of possible salary reductions or loss thereof, as they cannot adapt to these reform decisions. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the impact of remote work and teleworking in the city of Lima. The research was qualitative of a hermeneutic type based on the phenomenological design, workers from Lima were interviewed. The results obtained reveal the impact of remote work and teleworking in the city of Lima during the COVID-19 post-pandemic. It was advantageous for sectors that need personnel trained in information technology and had a negative impact for workers of organizations that cannot implement remote work. . In conclusion, teleworking made it possible in the first instance to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 post-pandemic on companies in Lima, strengthening jobs and the home economy. Thus, in the course of implementation, job opportunities increased for people with disabilities, since it is enough to learn communication and technological skills to work in an entity.
